Tell me more about you.
I launched Exposed Brick DC in 2013. The site was born out of my own frustration of trying to find a charming apartment in DC for a good price. Even after finding an apartment via Craigslist, I continued to log on every day to see what other apartments I was missing out on. I created a website to share my Craigslist finds and amassed a whopping 1M page views in six months.
Since then the site has evolved. I still share rentals once a week via a newsletter but the majority of my content is now about listings for sale, the state of the DC real estate marketing, and creating a community of DC real estate lovers. On my social media channels you will find a mix of open house tours, real estate memes, and market updates.
Many people are surprised to hear that real estate is not my full time gig. Exposed Brick DC is my creative outlet that has quietly evolved into a business. I work full time in political advertising, running my own shop called Swann Street Media. I have a unique perspective on how to grow brands and build audiences both organically and through paid media. By leveraging what I have learned in both political advertising and real estate marketing, I hope to provide a fresh strategy that makes you stand out in a crowd.
