At this point you have probably seen Miley Cyrus’ “Used To Be Young” series circulating on social. I don’t follow many celebrities on social media. In fact, you might remember that I hardly follow anyone outside of real estate and design. But that hasn’t stopped me from getting hooked on this series. Before we talk about the concept of a series and why they work, it is important to note that Miley is doing several other things (many of which we have talked about in the past) that is making this series shine.
The first being talking the camera. This is the thing many of us fear (including me!) but it really does help form a connection. The second thing is vulnerability. Miley talks about several traumatic moments from her past and you can’t help but want to see what is coming next. The last is doubling down on one moment– something we talked about two weeks ago. All of this content is to promote just one single. You can also argue the series to doing wonderful things for her personal brand. A true win-win.
Now let’s talk specifically about the concept of a series and how you can replicate it.
That concludes EBDC Pulse’s free content for the week! This email was sent to 176 real estate professionals. Help us reach more subscribers by forwarding this week’s issue to your colleagues!
