Last week there were several headlines about Beyonce attending Taylor Swift’s movie premier. Unless you live under a rock, you know that both Beyonce and Taylor Swift have/are releasing film versions of their blockbuster (no put intended) summer concerts. Many people have applauded the pair for supporting each other instead of competing. The same mentality can be applied to creating content and growing a brand on social. When given the opportunity, always choose collaboration over competition.

I know what you are thinking, the DC real estate scene is very competitive by nature. No matter if you are an agent, lender, stager, designer, etc. you are all competing for the same clients. The whole point of creating a brand online is to position YOU or YOUR COMPANY as the thought leader and win customers so why highlight a competitors work?
