I recently read that creativity is a muscle that you have to exercise. Tapping into that muscle can be tough. Here are a few things that have helped me become more creative:
Identify your creative peaks: I have noticed that I am most creative either first thing in the morning or late at night. During the middle of the day, I am too bogged down with other things to think creatively. Once you identify your creative peak, stick to them.
Bookmark, save, make notes: If you have an idea or come across a piece a news that you want to share with your followers but don’t quite know how you want to do it, make a note. Write down your idea, save the post, whatever it takes to remember the concept but save your creating for a time when you personally feel creative. You shouldn’t feel pressure to drop everything and pump out a piece of content when the idea comes to you.
Find inspiration from others: If you notice many creators are using the same sound or song it’s probably because it’s trending. On any video (TikTok or Instagram) you can tap the audio and that will direct you to the audio’s page. On that page you can see how every creator has used the song. More than likely there is a common theme. The key is to put your own spin on it.
