Let me explain.

Yes, short form video is king right now but that doesn’t mean that you need to be constantly filming every little thing. If you are into that, more power to you. I enjoy watching vlog style videos but personally, every time I go to create something like that, I end up feeling drained. It just doesn’t come naturally to me. Reminding myself to film content randomly throughout the day is simply annoying.

Instead, I spend an hour or two each weekend in “video mode.” I hit a few open house and just focus on capturing as much content as I can in those few hours. I have found approaching it this way helps content creation feel less all consuming.

Usually, I only need to film about three houses to have more than enough content for a week.

The key for me is that three houses equates to way more than three posts. Some social media strategist refer to this as “drawing out content.” Essentially, you are taking one concept (i.e. listing, project, story, etc.) and talking about it different ways, creating a new piece of content each time. Let me show you an example:

That concludes EBDC Pulse’s free content for the week! This email was sent to 146 real estate professionals. Help us reach more subscribers by forwarding this week’s issue to your colleagues!
